If the idea that selling is spiritual surprises you, I’m glad you are here. Because continuing to dismiss selling as sleazy, difficult to do, pushy, or uncomfortable only delays your prosperity, when you own a business and believe in spiritual marketing.
Selling is part of every ancient culture, whether it’s trading among native peoples throughout the Americas or making deals at a desert oasis in northern Africa. Without sales there’s no way to offer what you, through the grace of the universe, have been given the talent to create. When you don’t allow your gifts to flow, it’s harder to receive your flow of abundance back… If you’re ready to drop your judgments about sales, here are 3 keys to spiritual selling:
Key #1 – When the law of attraction brings you a prospect, you can be sure that person will benefit from what you offer. The people who show up in your store, on your mailing list, and in response to your ads aren’t random. They’re with you because the Law of Attraction has matched you up. Therefore your spiritual marketing responsibility is to offer (“sell”) what you have in the most compelling way possible.
Key #2 – Your success with selling (or lack of it) is a direct reflection of your passion and belief in what you offer. As a spiritual business owner you are entirely responsible for the state of your business. Even in today’s weak economy, we have tons of examples of solopreneurs doing extremely well. Stop blaming your lack of income on your market, your competition, the economy etc. Instead, examine your own vibration and your level of faith in spirit. (As a Law of Attraction coach, I often start here with new clients.)
Key #3 – It’s NOT your job to close the sale! It IS your responsibility to do the absolutely best job you can of offering your product or service. But whether the sale closes or not is up to spirit. We can never know for certain why the Law of Attraction has connected us with a certain prospect – we can only know the connection is meant for the good of all concerned. Don’t take a lost sale personally. Instead review how things went and analyze whether there is anything you can do to improve.
A final tip about spiritual selling: if your sincere intention is to serve your prospect, then you will always help them, whether or not they buy. (And many times they will come back and buy later because of the connection between you.)
